The temple of Zeus is preserved in its originality. It is considered one of the best preserved Roman temples in Turkey. Of the original 48 Ionic columns of the temple - 15 on the long sides and 8 on the short sides - only the columns on the western and northern sides remain today. One long side and one short side of the cella are preserved. |
